Monticello HS Showcase 2020 – MHS Orchestra Information

Dear Orchestra Students:

As discussed in class, we will be performing for the Monticello Haigh School Community Showcase this Thursday March 5th. This is an event organized and directed by administrators and teachers to showcase the work we are all doing. Food and drinks will be provided. Your attendance is required. You will be performing the repertoire for the District Assessment and Spring Concert. We know we are still working on the music and this will be a good opportunity to provide music to the event as well as to run the music multiple times in small ensembles.   Please see the schedule below, ensembles, and other details.

Schedule

4:00pm           Meet at the Orchestra Room. Help move music stands and chairs to the location where

                        you ensemble will be (a chart with ensemble locations will be given).

 

4:30pm           Begin performing (45 min)

 

5:15-5:30        Break (10 minutes break) (15 min)

 

5:30-6:15pm  Perform (45 min)

 

6:15-6:30pm   Break

 

6:30-7:15pm   Perform

7:15-7:30        Clean up- bring stands and chairs back 

​

There will be a small alternative assessment if you cannot attend. You and your parents must contact me to let me know the reasons that prevents you from attending this showcase performance.
